Spring 2019 - Industry's proactive participation at the Feature Extraction Workshops

Proactive participation from the Industry is critical for any workshops. The participants at the ongoing geospatial weekend workshops had the opportunity to interact with the best in the geospatial industry. Global leaders in geospatial technology - Environmental Systems Research Institute has been an active collaborator with the BCC Geospatial Center since 2013. The participants and talented group of instructional team have been exposed to new concepts, new toolsets and hands-on exercises focused on feature extraction, deep learning and story mapping thanks to Jim Barry from ESRI. BGCCCI's annual advisory board will meet at BGCCCI in a month's time to discuss out-of-the-box internships and career expos for geospatial aspirants.
