Participants from New York City Colleges engrossed in their tasks at the workshops. The BCC Geospatial Center of the CUNY CREST Institute powered by major grants from the National Science Foundations Advanced technological Educational [NSF-ATE] grants and the National Aeronautical Space Administrations' STEM program has been involved in promoting Geospatial Technology since 2010. By educating and conducting cutting-edge research using BIG geospatial data it has created a unique ecosystem consisting of Industry, collaborating institutions, NGOs, schools, counsellors and parents have created career pathways to many and impacted many others to think spatially.
